The Atlanta Braves return to Truist Park Tuesday night to begin a pivotal three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers in a matchup featuring two of Major League Baseball’s top contenders. Both teams enter the series leading their respective divisions, making it one of the biggest showdowns of the week as the postseason race begins to heat up.
The Braves will look to take advantage of home-field advantage against a Dodgers club that arrives in Atlanta riding a six-game winning streak. Atlanta is looking to make a statement against one of baseball’s premier teams as both clubs battle for playoff positioning.
The opener is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. at Truist Park, with Atlanta expected to send Bryce Elder to the mound against Dodgers right-hander Tyler Glasnow.
