A new youth competitive shooting team is coming to Kershaw County. Sandhill Shooting Sports in Lugoff has been selected as the official host range for a newly forming Scholastic Action Shooting Program, or SASP, team. The national program focuses on safe firearm handling, teamwork, leadership, and competitive speed shooting at steel targets. The team is open to student-athletes from fifth grade through college and is also seeking adult volunteers to serve as coaches and mentors.
