The City of Camden will begin a street resurfacing project Tuesday morning, starting on Fair Street between DeKalb Street and Christmas Place. Additional paving is planned for portions of Gates, George Wright, Calhoun, King and Gordon Extension streets. Residents should expect crews to spend at least two days on each section, weather permitting, along with temporary driveway restrictions and traffic delays. Fair Street residents are asked to move vehicles from the roadway and any needed vehicles from driveways before crews arrive Tuesday. Drivers should also stay off newly paved surfaces until they’re reopened. For questions, call Camden Utilities and Public Works at 803-432-2421.
