Kershaw County Council has a full agenda when it meets Tuesday evening at the Kershaw County Government Center. Council will hold public hearings on expanding the boundaries of a joint industrial park with Fairfield County for an economic development project known as “Project Gemstone,” and on a proposed private hangar contract at the Kershaw County Airport. Sheriff Lee Boan is also scheduled to give a presentation on flock safety cameras and automated license plate reader systems. Council will consider several zoning-related ordinances, recognize September as National Preparedness Month, and discuss recommendations for appointments. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday at 515 Walnut Street in Camden; it is open to the public and streams live at the county’s YouTube channel.
