On Tuesday, runoffs took place for the Senate Seat 35 race. Both Kershaw County candidates won their respective races. In Kershaw County voting only, on the republican side, Mike Jones got 1127 votes, while Lindsay Agostini got 242. Overall in that race, Jones got 1921 votes, with Agostini getting 792. On the democratic side, in Kershaw County only, Jeffrey Graham received 767, while Austin Floyd got 369. Overall, this race was very close, as Graham won by a margin of just 24 votes. In Kershaw County, only 11% of eligible registered voters participated in the runoffs, while statewide only 6% participated.
