South Carolina Secretary of State Mark Hammond is accepting nominations for the state’s 2026 Angel Awards, recognizing charitable organizations that demonstrate strong stewardship of donations.
To qualify, charities should generally spend at least 80 percent of contributions on charitable services, have operated for at least three years, and make effective use of volunteers. Nominations can be submitted by mail to the Secretary of State’s Office in Columbia or by email at charities@sos.sc.gov.
The deadline to submit nominations is September 30th.
