Kershaw County Council will meet Tuesday, November 10th, at 6 p.m. at the Government Center in Camden.
Council members will consider several zoning changes, including new regulations for major and minor mining operations, restrictions on off-premises advertising signs, and provisions allowing two homes on one property during construction of a replacement residence. Council will also consider a private hangar agreement at the Kershaw County Airport.
Under new business, council will review a proposed $124,500 contract with State Tree Service for grinding approximately 30,000 cubic yards of debris at the county landfill. An update on airport operations and a presentation on Camden’s tax increment financing redevelopment plan are also scheduled. The meeting is open to the public.
