KCSD Board to Consider 2026-27 Budget and Bond Resolution Tuesday

The Kershaw County School Board will meet Tuesday evening June 2nd at 6 o’clock at the district office on West DeKalb Street in Camden. Trustees are expected to hold a second reading and vote on the proposed 2026-2027 district budget, along with consideration of the district’s annual SCAGO bond resolution. The agenda also includes public forum, recognitions, and executive session for employment matters. During a recent finance committee meeting, district officials reported the general fund budget currently stands at more than 127 million dollars, with the district maintaining the same millage rate for the past 13 years.
