According to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, a Lugoff woman is now facing charges following a Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office investigation. Authorities say 27-year-old Alexis Bedgood turned herself in about 30 minutes after a social media post was released by the department. Officials say she admitted responsibility and wanted to be held accountable. Bedgood has been charged with unlawful conduct toward a child and malicious injury to property under $2000. She is currently being held at the Kershaw County Detention Center awaiting bond. Officials also removed the original video from social media after juveniles were identified.
