KCSD Announces Administrative Transfer

Kershaw County School District announces the transfer of Jackson School Assistant Principal Dr. Chandra Richardson to the Continuous Learning Center as its new assistant director. Before joining Jackson School, Dr. Richardson served as an assistant principal at Lugoff-Elgin Middle School. She previously taught at Lugoff Elementary School, Lugoff-Elgin Middle School and Stover Middle School.


She has a bachelor of science degree from the University of South Carolina, a master’s degree in education from Francis Marion University and a doctorate of education from South Carolina State University. Dr. Richardson is a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Educational Sorority, South Carolina Association of School Administrators, and is a former member of People-to-People Ambassador of the United States program. She previously served as the Vice President of the Kershaw County Education Association and on the United Way of Kershaw County Board. She also serves as a children and youth advisor, continuing the legacy of her late mother, Mary Ann Richardson. She and her family established a scholarship in honor of her late mother and nephew.
