Two men are facing multiple drug and weapons charges following a search warrant executed Friday in the Camden area. The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office says deputies, working with SLED agents, searched a home on Saxon Place, where seven people were found inside, including three juveniles.
Investigators say they seized 172 grams of marijuana, 50 grams of cocaine, 44 grams of crack cocaine, more than 14-thousand dollars in cash, three handguns, ammunition and drug distribution paraphernalia. One of the guns had reportedly been stolen in Camden.
Thirty-two-year-old Timmy Deandre Bennett and 37-year-old Robert Maurice Bennett were arrested on multiple trafficking, drug and firearms charges, along with charges of unlawful conduct toward a child. Both remain at the Kershaw County Detention Center pending bond hearings.
