Around 4:40pm on Thursday, a stolen Dodge Charger was seen on Hwy 601 in Lugoff. The driver of the Charger failed to stop when deputies turned on blue lights. A chase ensued south bound on Hwy 601. The suspects exited Hwy 601 and attempted to hide the vehicle behind a house. They were seen by an off duty Elgin Police. Three subjects then ran from the vehicle. KCSO K9 Kilo was put on their tracks. Within 5 minutes, Kilo apprehended all three suspects. One 17 year-old suspect and two adult suspects were taken into custody without any injuries. The driver had a handgun in his pocket when deputies located him.
