On Thursday July 31st, SLED announced that they had charged 54 year old John Anthony Heflin with Disseminating Harmful Material or Exhibiting a Harmful Performance to a Minor, Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor 2nd (victim under 16), Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, and Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor 3rd. SLED previously charged the former Camden Military Academy Administrator with Criminal Solicitation of a Minor in September of 2024. Heflin’s was booked into the Kershaw County Detention Center.
