According to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, 911 received a call of a male being shot on Calvert Drive in Bethune on Tuesday February 18th just after 3:30pm. Deputies responded and rendered medical aid to the victim who was taken by helicopter to the hospital. The Sheriff’s Office believes the shooter immediately left the area and there is no danger to the community. Investigators and SLED are still investigating this incident.
