On November 13th, the South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS) is publicly announcing the agency has received instructions to begin issuing full Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for the month of November.
On November 12, 2025, President Donald J. Trump signed into law the Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026 (“FY26 Appropriations Act”) that provides funding for the SNAP program, including November 2025 benefits, through the current federal fiscal year ending on September 30, 2026.
