The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close the Sawmill Road bridge over Little Flat Rock Creek in Kershaw County for repairs beginning Tuesday, January 20th. The bridge is expected to reopen Thursday, January 22nd, weather permitting. During the closure, Sawmill Road will remain open to local traffic only, except at the bridge site, and a signed detour will be in place. Drivers are urged to slow down, follow posted detour signs, and watch for road crews while traveling through the area.
