Sandhills Medical and the Kershaw County School District have announced a new partnership to provide healthcare services directly in participating schools. During the school year, students will have access to checkups, sports physicals, sick visits, and behavioral health services with parent approval. Visits will be billed through insurance when available, while uninsured families can receive care on a sliding fee scale, and no child will be turned away. Superintendent Dr. Harrison Goodwin says the partnership will help students receive care quickly so they can stay healthy and ready to learn.
