Learn video game programming on computer with Citadel graduate Conor Rom. You will need to download an open sourceware program called Unity onto your laptop or you may use a library laptop (9 are available) during this 4-session course. There is no charge, but you will want to attend all sessions as the material builds upon previous work.

The Basics: Cherniece Kelley, Dementia Care Specialist with the SC Department on Aging, will provide an overview of dementia, including common types and guidance on navigating a diagnosis. She will share available treatment options, care planning tips, and local and statewide support resources.

Join Clemson’s Javencia Hill for Know Diabetes By Heart KDBH). Sponsored by the American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association, this is a free education session. The program aims to help participants better understand the link between diabetes and heart disease.

By participating in this one-hour session, you will learn more about:
• How diabetes and heart disease are related to increased risks;
• How to take control of your risks;
• How to access community and clinical resources.

Kids and parents playing along are welcome to join us in playing with Legos at the library.
