A Kershaw County educator is receiving statewide recognition. South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis has named Dana Watkins of North Central Elementary School the Financial Literacy Master Teacher Program’s Educator of the Month for October.
Watkins, a Kershaw County Schools graduate, is now in her fifth year as a special education teacher. Loftis praised her dedication to helping students develop confidence and essential money-management skills, preparing them to make sound financial decisions in the future.
