A new organization in Elgin is working to build awareness, inclusion, and support for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. The Lucky21 Club was established this year to celebrate and champion those impacted by Trisomy 21 while promoting a stronger sense of belonging throughout the community. Organizers say the group’s mission goes beyond awareness by encouraging acceptance and inclusion for everyone. The Lucky21 Club is already planning its first Buddy Walk in Kershaw County, set for October 17th.
