Myrtle Lee Faile to Receive Order of the Palmetto in Camden Ceremony

The City of Camden is inviting the community to City Hall Thursday afternoon as longtime regional leader Myrtle Lee Faile is formally presented with the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina’s highest civilian honor. The award recognizes Faile’s decades of leadership and public service, including her work with Lynches River Electric Cooperative and her contributions to communities across Chesterfield, Lancaster, and Kershaw counties. The ceremony will take place Thursday, March 12th at 4 p.m. at Camden City Hall, located at 1000 Lyttleton Street. Community members are invited to attend and help celebrate Mrs. Faile’s lasting impact on the region.
