At the Tuesday City Council meeting, Mayor Alfred Mae Drakeford announced that Camden City Manager Jon Rorie has tendered his resignation. The Mayor noted that Rorie’s last day would be April 30th, and she asked that council and staff begin the process of getting ready to search for a new City Manager immediately. It was also briefly mentioned by council that employing an interim City Manager would be a possibility.
