According to Kershaw County Coroner David West, one person is dead following a crash Sunday morning in Camden. Authorities say 911 received a call just before 11 a.m. about a collision at Highway 34 and South Gate Drive. A T-Bucket hot rod traveling east crossed into the westbound lane and struck a Ford Expedition head-on. The driver of the hot rod, 73-year-old Walter Grannen the Third of the Lexington area, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
