The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office will host a Peace Officers Memorial Day Ceremony Friday, May 15th at 10 a.m. at the future site of the Kershaw County Law Enforcement Officers Memorial beside the flagpole at the Sheriff’s Office on Ridgeway Road in Lugoff. The ceremony will honor the nine fallen officers of Kershaw County and their families. Speakers include Kershaw County Council Chairman Ben Connell, Camden Mayor Vincent Sheheen, State Representative Cody Mitchell, Camden Police Chief Jack Rushing, and Kershaw County Sheriff Lee Boan.
