The Kershaw County School Board has made two key leadership appointments at Lugoff-Elgin High School. During its January 13th meeting, the board officially named Jarvis Littlejohn as Head Football Coach and Kathryn Ham as Student Activities Director, after both served in those roles on an interim basis since May. School officials cited a standout fall sports season under their leadership, with every Lugoff-Elgin athletic team qualifying for postseason play. Principal Corey Wright praised Ham for building championship-level volleyball programs and extending that success across multiple sports, including strong starts for winter teams.
Coach Littlejohn was credited with leading the football program to its first home playoff game and postseason victory in nearly ten years, while strengthening connections with student-athletes and families and preparing players for collegiate opportunities. Littlejohn brings nearly two decades of coaching experience at the high school and college levels, while Ham brings 18 years of coaching and administrative experience, including multiple Coach of the Year honors and leadership roles within the district.
