Kershaw County Council meets Tuesday evening with several high-profile items on the agenda. Council members will hold public hearings and consider final approval of economic development agreements tied to the proposed Project Ballast and Project Gemstone industrial projects, along with lease agreements involving the South Carolina Forestry Commission and the Department of Natural Resources. Council will also discuss inmate work crews, convenience center hours, and hear a proposal for new pickleball courts during new business. The meeting also includes a proclamation recognizing the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
