Kershaw County Council to Discuss Data Center Moratorium, Development Issues

Kershaw County Council will meet Tuesday, August 11th, with development issues among the items on the agenda. Council is scheduled to discuss moratoriums for data centers, along with several zoning matters. The council will also consider second reading of an ordinance creating a new Residential Master Planned District for larger residential developments, including requirements dealing with density, buffers, infrastructure and preservation of natural resources.

Other business includes first readings involving a private hangar contract at the Kershaw County Airport, a joint industrial park agreement with Lancaster County, and changes to height limitations for certain structures.
