Kershaw County officially celebrated major improvements at KC West Park in Lugoff with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday. County leaders, Recreation Commission officials, legislators, project partners and community members gathered to mark the completion of the upgrades. The project adds 250 paved parking spaces and a new entrance and exit on Whitehead Road, improving access for visitors. Officials say the enhancements will make the popular park more convenient and welcoming for families, sports leagues and community events. KC West Park is now fully open and ready for the public to enjoy.
