The Kershaw County School Board meets Tuesday night at 6:00 in the back building at the District Office on West DeKalb Street in Camden. During recognitions and celebrations, Lugoff-Elgin High School students Abigail Shoemake and Jada Diaz will present their project honoring students with a memorial bench. The presentation highlights their efforts to create a lasting tribute on campus.
The board will also consider approval of the proposed 2027-2028 school calendar and review several board policies related to staff compensation and contracts. An executive session is scheduled to address employment matters before the board reconvenes for any necessary action.
