Kershaw County is asking residents and business owners to electronically report any damages to their properties from Hurricane Helene. This will help the County Assessment Teams with their efforts.

Based on initial reports, damage has been minor in most areas while isolated areas were more affected. Residents who have had damage, such as water or wind damage from Hurricane Helene, are asked to complete the online survey below. The deadline to complete the survey is October 11, 2024.

These reports will help the county’s damage assessment team as it works its way through different areas of the County. This information will be used to report to SCEMD and FEMA to help determine if the County will qualify for FEMA Individual Assistance. This information will be shared with Federal and State Partners to help make that determination. By completing this survey, it does not promise or guarantee any assistance from the County, State, or Federal Government.
