Governor Henry McMaster has announced 25 appointments to the newly created Governor’s Conservation Commission, including two representatives from Camden. Thomas Mullikin Jr. and Rick Wise are among those selected.

The commission will advise the governor on conservation and historic preservation, help local governments develop conservation goals, and encourage partnerships to protect South Carolina’s natural and cultural resources. The commission was established earlier this month through an executive order signed by Governor McMaster.
