GE To Expand Camden Plant

Recently, GE announced a $3 billion five year plan to expand operations across the United States. Including in the expansion plans is the Camden plant. According to the release GE says, “Today, the GE Appliances Camden plant produces gas water heaters. With this new investment, demand-response electric water heater and GeoSpring™ hybrid heat pump water heater manufacturing will be added, doubling the plant’s output and employment once the project is complete. The first phase will be implemented by early 2026.”
