According to Kershaw County Coroner David West. 911 received a call at Friday afternoon around 1:57 PM of a Motor Vehicle Accident at the intersection of Wildwood Lane and Smyrna Rd in Elgin, South Carolina. 26 year old Maria Manzano of Elgin, was wearing a seatbelt, but passed away as a result of the accident. The other driver was airlifted to a local hospital in Columbia, and their condition is unknown.
