The Kershaw County School District, partnering with the United Way of Kershaw County, is offering free summer meals for children June 1st through July 17th. Breakfast and lunch will be available Monday through Thursday for anyone 18 and under at Blaney Elementary, Camden High School, and North Central Middle School. Breakfast is served from 7 to 8:30 a.m., with lunch available from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Organizers say the program helps ensure local children have access to nutritious meals while school is out for the summer. Local community organizations interested in hosting a summer meal site are encouraged to reach out to Donny Supplee at the United Way of Kershaw County at donnysupplee@uwkc.net or Nikki Elmore at Nikkielmore@uwkc.net
