Kershaw County Fire Service and the Lugoff Fire Department are celebrating the graduation of their first-ever recruit school. Hunter Allen, Timothy Dial, Jason Huse, Davey Coates, William Gibson and Jonathan Miles completed an intensive 12-week training program covering first responder certifications, driver and operator training, and Firefighter Two standards. Five will serve with Kershaw County Fire Service and one with Lugoff Fire. The new probationary firefighters began reporting for their first official shifts immediately following graduation.
