Cleveland School Fire Memorial Ceremony Set for May 17 in Kershaw County

In memory of the 103rd anniversary of the tragic Cleveland School Fire, the Cleveland School Memorial Foundation, along with Beulah Christian Church, is inviting the public to a special memorial ceremony. It will be held Sunday, May 17th at 9 a.m. at Beulah Christian Church on Beulah Church Road near Camden. The 1923 fire claimed 77 lives and led to major changes in fire safety laws nationwide.
