The Kershaw County community is invited to celebrate Juneteenth on Friday, June 19, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Camden City Arena. The free event will feature live entertainment, cultural performances, an Empowerment Fair, community resources, vendors, and complimentary food and beverages for attendees. Organizers say the celebration honors African American freedom, achievement, and history while bringing the community together in a spirit of unity. The 6th Annual Kershaw County Juneteenth Celebration is presented by A. LIFE Builders in partnership with the City of Camden.
