Residents within the City of Camden are invited to take part in a free Community Tree Giveaway on Saturday, March 14th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Camden City Hall on Lyttleton Street. The event is part of the Trees4SC! program, which helps communities grow and protect urban forests across South Carolina. A total of 150 trees will be available, but residents must sign up in advance to receive one. Registration can be completed through the event page at ExperienceCamdenSC.com, or by contacting Community Tree Advocate Liz Gilland by phone or email. Organizers note trees will not be held after 1 p.m. if they are not claimed.
