According to the Camden Police Department, one of their own is being recognized for making a difference across Kershaw County. Lieutenant Penny Lloyd has received the Anne Dallas Volunteer of the Year Award from the United Way of Kershaw County. The award honors individuals whose dedication to volunteer service has a lasting impact on the community. During the presentation, United Way President Donny Supplee called Lloyd a “true superhero,” saying she serves wherever she’s needed. Police Chief Jack Rushing praised her compassion and commitment, calling her one of the most dedicated people he’s worked with.
