The City of Camden has named Laurie Slade Funderburk as its new City Prosecutor. Mayor Vincent Sheheen says her experience will strengthen public safety and the city’s commitment to justice. In her new role, Funderburk will represent the City in municipal court, working closely with law enforcement on local cases. A Camden native, she brings years of legal and public service experience, including 16 years in the South Carolina House of Representatives. Funderburk says she’s honored to serve her hometown and looks forward to supporting a safe and strong community.
