According to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, they arrested Dwayne Shemar Smith (26) of Camden in connection to the June 4, 2025 shooting incident that occurred at his residence on the 2400 block of Haile Street. Smith was booked into the Kershaw County Detention Center for attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. The victim remains in stable condition at the hospital.
