Perimeter security company AMAROK is expanding in Richland County with a new headquarters facility. The $69 million project is expected to create nearly 300 new jobs. The company, currently based in downtown Columbia, provides electric fencing, surveillance, and access control systems for businesses nationwide. The new 125-thousand square foot headquarters will be built in Columbia’s Bull Street District, with operations expected to begin by the end of 2028. State officials have approved job development incentives and a grant to help support the project.
