Camden Native Shawn Elliott, who most recently was Georgia State’s Head Football Coach, is returning home to coach again at the University of South Carolina. The USC Board of Trustees approved his contract on February 16th. Elliott will coach Tight Ends and serve as the Gamecocks’ Run Game Coordinator. His contract is for three years, and USC will pay $150,000 to Georgia State as part of Elliott’s buyout. Coach Elliott will make $750,000 the first two seasons and $775,000 in the third year.
