The North Central Knights will hit the road a day earlier than originally planned this week, as their matchup against the Central Eagles has been moved from Friday night to Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
The game was originally scheduled for Friday, September 18, in Pageland, but the schedule has been changed due to the threat of storms Friday evening. The National Weather Service is currently calling for a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening in Kershaw County.
North Central enters the matchup with a 1-3 record and will be looking to bounce back after falling to Mid-Carolina last week. The Knights picked up their first victory of the season earlier this month with an impressive 56-8 road win over Buford.
Thursday night’s contest also marks the beginning of region play for North Central, adding even more importance to the matchup as the Knights make the trip to Pageland.
Again, the schedule has changed: North Central at Central will now be played Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. instead of Friday night because of the threat of storms in Friday’s forecast.
