The Kershaw County School Board meets Tuesday night with standardized testing, student participation fees and policy changes among the items on the agenda. The September 1st meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Kershaw County School District Office on West DeKalb Street in Camden.
Trustees are scheduled to consider approval of a gas line easement, along with revisions to the district’s policy governing the admission of nonresident students. The board will also receive a standardized testing update. That presentation was carried over from the August 18th meeting to give board members additional time to review the information and prepare questions. Also returning for discussion are athletic and activity participation fees.
The meeting will conclude with an executive session on employment matters, followed by any necessary action. School Board meetings are open to the public and stream live at the district’s YouTube channel.
