Kershaw County property owners have until September 10th to appeal their reassessed property valuation if they believe it is inaccurate. After that deadline, valuations will be fixed and cannot be changed. Appeals can be submitted online, by mail, or in person at the Kershaw County Assessor’s Office, 515 Walnut Street in Camden, weekdays from 8:30 to 5. Officials also remind residents that reassessment notices are not tax bills. Tax notices are expected to begin going out in late September or October.
