Due to the extreme heat expected Friday evening, organizers of the 50th Annual Camden Shrine Club Football Jamboree have pushed back the start times for all three games at Historic Zemp Stadium.
The opening matchup featuring North Central and Calhoun County will now kick off at 7:00 p.m. The second mini-game between Lugoff-Elgin and Orangeburg Wilkinson is scheduled for 7:50 p.m., while the nightcap between Camden and Blythewood will begin at 8:40 p.m.
The adjusted schedule is designed to provide safer playing conditions for the student-athletes, coaches, officials, and fans as temperatures cool later in the evening.
Fans who can’t make it to Historic Zemp Stadium won’t miss any of the action. KOOL 102.7 will provide complete coverage of all three games with a special pregame show beginning at 6:00 p.m.
