Aspiring authors in Kershaw County have three opportunities this summer to build their writing skills at the Kershaw County Library. The series begins July 11 with a day-long Write-In hosted by the Midlands Writers’ Guild, featuring brainstorming sessions and writing sprints for local creatives. On July 17, Camden native and published author Stuart Pennebaker will discuss the writing process and today’s publishing industry. The series wraps up August 1 with author Rhonda McKnight leading a workshop on overcoming writer’s block and exploring self-publishing versus traditional publishing. Registration is required for select events, with details available through the Kershaw County Library
