Kershaw County residents now have a new online tool to track building permit availability and growth throughout the county. The Planning and Zoning Department has launched a dedicated webpage featuring an interactive ArcGIS Building Permit Allotment Tracker as part of the county’s Building Permit Allocation System, which took effect May 13th.
The tracker allows users to view permit allotments by category, see how many permits have been applied for, issued, and remain available, monitor usage percentages, and track waitlists when allotments are full. Permit data will be updated weekly on Mondays.
