The City of Camden is inviting the community to a special Leader’s Legacy Bench Dedication Ceremony honoring longtime community leader and preservation advocate Billy Silver. The ceremony will take place Friday, June 12th at 10 a.m. at Broad Street Park, located at Broad and Rutledge Streets. Silver, a Korean War veteran, Citadel graduate, and dedicated Camden citizen, is being recognized for his lifelong commitment to preserving Camden’s history and strengthening the community. Residents are encouraged to attend and celebrate the lasting legacy of one of Camden’s most respected leaders.
